Help
for using MrsMeep's Stationery
for Outlook
Express 5 and 6
NOTE: ! Helpful Screen Shots Below !

Who can use the stationery on these pages?
This stationery is free for download for your
personal use. I had lots of fun creating it, and I hope you have lots of fun using it. Ü
You must use Outlook Express 5 or 6 as your email program. It is designed only for OE5 and may not work
or be seen correctly by other email programs. This stationery is to be enjoyed and used for your
personal use only. Please don't include them as a part of a collection on another web page.
The original images used are not created by me, unless specified. Some are used with permission,
others have been collected from around the internet. I have designed the stationery in PhotoShop and have altered
most of the images from their original state. Please email me if I have used your image and have not
given you credit, or if you would like to have it removed from these pages. I will gladly comply.
I certainly want to give credit where it is due. Also, please email me if you are an artist and
would like me to create email stationery from your work. I'd LOVE to do that.
How do I preview the stationery?
You can
easily preview the stationery by clicking on the images. All the images have
graphics and sound. They will appear as they will when you use them in
stationery. Hit the back button to return to the page to download.
How do I download the stationery?
All of my stationery is in EXE format.
It will easily install even if you don't have a zip / unzip program on your computer. To download
the stationery, click on the download button, select
"Run this program from its current location."
The stationery will automatically install.
All files have been scanned for viruses and are safe. The stationery will automatically extract itself
into your stationery folder. It is now ready to use.
How do I use the stationery?
NOTE FOR OUTLOOK EXPRESS 6 USERS:
There is a setting that you need to change to use the stationery with Outlook Express 6.
It will give you the same settings that Outlook Express 5 had. It will allow the stationery
to work correctly. Run Outlook Express 6. Go up to the MENU bar and click on Tools, and then click Options.
Click on the OPTIONS window and then click on the Security tab. Under VIRUS PROTECTION,
Now click Select the Internet Explorer security zone to use, and select Internet Zone. Click Ok to exit.
- FOR ALL USERS: To use your stationery, you must click
the arrow beside the new message icon in OE5 at the top left of your screen. This will bring up your
stationery folder and you can select the stationery that you would like to
use. You must apply the stationery in this manner in order for it to work. If you try to apply
the stationery after you open a new message, it will not work properly. Note: Some of the stationeries do not look the same when you write on
them as they do when they are received. To see how they will look after sending
do the following: Open a new stationery and from the menu bar of the new
stationery window click view and then click
source edit.
Three tabs will appear at the
bottom of your new message. You will write and SEND from the edit tab. Click the
preview tab to see how it will look when sent. Then go back to the edit tab to
send. If you doubt that it will work right, send a message to yourself or please feel free to send one to me. I will
check it for you. Often I can tell what is going wrong if stationery is sent to me by the source code that I receive
along with the message. So, please don't hesitate to send if you need help. I want you to be able to enjoy using
the stationery. That is why I created it. :-)))) My email address is MrsMeep@MrsMeep.com
Some of the stationeries seem to get "stuck"
and I can't change to a different email folder, or delete it. What can I do?
This happens from time to time. Some of the scripts
seem to do this more than others. A quick fix is to click your mouse on the folder you want to go to, then
hit the "F5" key. This will check for your email, but it
will also allow you to delete an email or move to a different folder.
What if I have problems that don't seemed to be
answered here?
If you have problems and can't get the
stationery to work for you, please send me an email and I will do what I can to help you.
I'd love to see you and others enjoy my stationery designs.
